''Duke of York'' was a barque launched in 1817 and wrecked in 1837. ==History== The ship was a three masted barque that was built in Bideford in 1817 as a two masted brig. ''Lloyd's Register'' for 1818 lists a ''Duke of York'', 180 tons (bm), one year old, built at Bidford, master "Price" (later J. Price), owner Capt. & Co, and trade Falmouth - Jamaica.
